LogiSon® Acoustic Network

The LogiSon Acoustic Network is available globally—providing better acoustics over hundreds of millions of square feet for Fortune 500 clients and small businesses alike.

Elegantly engineered, the LogiSon Acoustic Network is suitable for installations of any size and complexity—small zones, precise controls, industry-leading functionality and a variety of loudspeaker designs allow customization for any environment. In addition, networked setting and zone control means you can make adjustments in minutes following any organizational or structural changes.

Small control zones

Zones are 1 to 3 loudspeakers in size, maximizing local control across your entire workplace. LogiSon sound masking sets the bar for volume consistency at ±0.5 dBA, ensuring that it is both effective and unobtrusive.

TARGET Tuning: Third-octave frequency control

LogiSon technicians use precision sound analyzers meeting Type 1 standards. They are equipped with TARGET—an application that third-octave tunes each small control zone to the desired curve in a matter of seconds, for better, more consistent results.

Networked Control: Decentralized sound generation

Each zone features a dedicated generator, which produces a truly random sound covering the full masking spectrum, typically specified between 100 and 10,000 hertz (Hz).

The LogiSon Acoustic Network’s compact control panel can be mounted on a wall or in an equipment closet. Wherever you locate it, you can manage the settings and zoning for a loudspeaker, a group of loudspeakers, or an entire campus—either from the panel or from the Acoustic Network Manager software.

Full-Range Loudspeakers

LogiSon loudspeakers are small enough to be attractive in open ceiling applications, but large enough to produce the full range of masking sound.

Paging & Music

Paging and music work independently from sound masking while using the same set of loudspeakers. Have the freedom to communicate or entertain without compromising your sound masking setup.

Flexible Design

No matter what your application, facility size, installation requirements or tuning conditions, our range of loudspeaker designs, industry-leading functions and precise control features will help you achieve your unique acoustic goals.

Safe & Secure

The LogiSon Acoustic Network is secured using both physical and electronic methods.

  • The control panel can be located within a physically secure space. All cabling connections are made inside the key-locked and password-protected enclosure. There are no physical controls on the hubs or loudspeakers.

  • Upstream: 128-bit AES encryption ensures that commands are unreadable and protected from unauthorized access, for both wired and wireless transmissions.

Downstream: The network is RS-485, the standard commonly used in building automation.

  • The control panel also monitors system performance. Running as a Windows Service, Acoustic Network Supervisor monitors your LogiSon Acoustic Network 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Acoustic Network Supervisor can be configured to monitor just the control panel(s) or all of the system’s components.

Expert service

Success in sound masking depends on more than just the right technology. You also need professionals with expertise implementing sound masking systems—a team that can provide ongoing support as your needs change.

We are that team. Our representatives provide a complete range of Acoustic Comfort® consulting services, and highly responsive technical support.

  • We visit your facility to review your sound masking, paging, music and security requirements, offering whatever information you need to help you familiarize yourself with sound masking.

  • To properly design the LogiSon Acoustic Network, we request blueprints or CAD files of the reflected ceiling plan, the furniture layout and the partition plan. Once we have this information, we plan a custom sound masking installation. We consult contractors, designers and other trades as needed.

  • After designing your sound masking system, we provide a quotation.

  • Our technicians can install your system, or if you prefer you can use a third-party installation company or your own electrical contractor.

Hubs and loudspeakers are usually placed in a grid-like pattern above a suspended ceiling, but can also be installed in open or hard ceilings. Chicago, underfloor and wall mount options are also available. Wiring is simple, consisting of a single line of low-voltage cable. The compact control panel can be fitted to a wall or located in an equipment closet.

LogiSon components meet UL, CE, ACMA (C-Tick), KC, and FCC standards and are approved for use in air-handling plenums. They are also RoHS compliant.

  • To ensure maximum performance, we use our TARGET tuning software to tune your LogiSon Acoustic Network. Learn more about TARGET tuning.

Set-up also includes establishing timer, keypad and paging settings; scheduling ramp-up and timer functions; selecting paging channels; and establishing user parameters for programmable keypads.

  • After the installation, we follow up to ensure your satisfaction. We also encourage you to maintain contact with us so we can make sure your LogiSon Acoustic Network operates at peak effectiveness throughout its lifecycle.

A quick site visit can determine if structural or organizational changes call for adjustments.

  • If you move, we can even move your LogiSon Acoustic Network to your new premises.
