Peter Martin Dahl | President

Peter earned his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary and began his career in the field of public accounting/taxation and with contract CFO positions. He has been with Sound-Rite since 1997, first as the company's CFO and moving into his current role as President in the year 2002. Peter enjoys his work at Sound-Rite in part because it allows him the unique opportunity of guiding the Sound-Rite team - a talented, dedicated, enthusiastic group of people - to achieve the company's Vision and Mission.


Ryan Reynolds E.E.T. | General Manager

Ryan joined the Sound-Rite team in 2006, and has since held many positions - design & drafting, estimating, and project coordination - before landing in his current role of General Manager. In this role, Ryan has the opportunity to provide direct support to customers while working alongside his esteemed colleagues - the valuable Sound-Rite team! Ryan earned a Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from S.A.I.T., and before becoming part of the Sound-Rite family he dabbled in a variety of jobs, such as customer service, carpentry and general construction. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys outdoor pursuits such as golfing, camping, fishing, hiking, skiing and ice hockey.


Daniel DaSilva | Controller

Born and raised in Calgary, Daniel has been a member of the Sound-Rite team since January 2014 and is currently in his role as Sound-Rite's Controller. A graduate of the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business, Daniel obtained a Bachelors of Commerce Degree in Accounting and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. With a background of work in public accounting and entrepreneurship, his role sees him providing analytical and operational support along with accounting guidance to compliment Sound-Rite’s strong team of business professionals. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys volunteering, traveling, golf, hockey, and watching movies.


Dean Terpstra | Account Manager, B.C

Dean has been with Sound-Rite since July 2010, and is currently an Account Manager - a role rife with opportunities to work with architects, interior designers, end users, and property and facility managers to find solutions to their acoustic and architectural needs. Prior to joining the Sound-Rite team, Dean attended the University of British Columbia for Real Estate Brokerage & LPI. He then worked at Chubb Security Canada as Corporate Account Manager, as well as Cobra Integrated Systems as their Sales Manager. Outgoing, organized and customer-service oriented, Dean appreciates Sound-Rite's vision and the recognition they provide their valued employees. He also enjoys working alongside his professional and personable colleagues and management staff every day. When he isn't happily managing his Sound-Rite accounts, Dean enjoys playing the guitar, water sports, volleyball, badminton and skiing.


Crystal Vandermey | Account Manager, Southern Alberta

Crystal Vandermey has been a member of the Sound-Rite family since March 2010. Her current role as Account Manager provides her with opportunities to work with architects, interior designers, end users, and property and facility managers to find solutions to their acoustic and architectural needs. Crystal is a graduate of SAIT Polytechnic in the Business Administration program, with a Major in Marketing. Previous to joining Sound-Rite, Crystal was administrative assistant at a commercial construction company. Crystal appreciates the opportunities to grow, both personally and professionally, that Sound-Rite provides. During her off hours, Crystal enjoys baking and spending time with loved ones.


Theresa Thomas | Account Manager, Northern Alberta, Saskatchewan & the Yukon

Theresa is one of our newest members to the team, starting Aug 2018. Her role as the Account Manager provides her with opportunities to work with individuals to find solutions for their acoustic and architectural needs. Her creative side loves to work with people to inspire and build something that achieves their goals. Theresa is born and raised in Calgary, AB, she graduated from SAIT in Architecture Technology and found a job as an Estimator at Flynn Canada for 5 years. Within those 5 years Theresa built on her knowledge of building envelope and exterior construction installs. Theresa also has a degree in Culinary arts and enjoys cooking on her off time, she also loves to travel, likes to workout at the gym, and spends time in the Mountains.


Chengeta Maisva | Project Coordinator/Estimator, B.C

Originally from Zimbabwe, Chengeta has been with Sound-Rite since 2007 and currently works in Estimating and Project Coordinating for the BC Territory. Armed with a Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management from BCIT and a Diploma in Architecture from George Brown College, Chengeta is proficient in SAP, AutoCAD 2D, Autodesk 3D, Microsoft Project, Revit and Surveying. Chengeta takes pride in his work and his ability to finish projects on time, such as the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board and BC Hydro Edmonds. He most enjoys Sound-Rite for the people and the environment. An avid art collector and traveller, Chengeta enjoys tennis, cooking, fitness and stand up comedy. Perhaps one of his greatest accomplishments thus far is learning to play the violin.


Stephen Moline | Project Coordinator/Estimator

A graduate of Calgary's Mount Royal University, Stephen obtained a Diploma in Business Administration and a Certificate in Project Management. Since joining Sound-Rite in June 2012, his role as Project Coordinator/Estimator has kept him busy with a variety of duties including coordinating sound masking installations, scheduling, invoicing, pricing architectural products, shipping and receiving, and managing inventory. Stephen looks forward to continued growth with Sound-Rite in the years to come. When Stephen isn’t busy working he enjoys motorcycles, snowboarding, and camping.


Harrison Hodgson | Project Support Technician

Raised in Airdrie Alberta, Harrison is a recent graduate of the Civil Engineering Technology Program at SAIT. Harrison joined the Sound-Rite team in April of 2019 and in this role, Harrison provides end-user support to clients, providing AutoCAD support on projects, and mantaining warehouse and inventory at the Calgary head office. In his free time he enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and staying active. Harrison is excited to learn, and gain valuable work experience in his young career.


Rory Gammack | Account Manager, B.C

Rory is an account manager with a focus on exterior architectural products. Joining Sound-Rite in June 2019, Rory is looking forward to continuing his career in architectural sales. Originally from a background in sales and manufacturing development, Rory takes pride in providing a tailored service approach and establishing quality partnerships with industry professionals within his role at Sound-Rite. Upon completing university Rory worked for Calligaris S.p.A before locating to Vancouver and working as sales manager for an acoustical manufacturer. Beyond his Sound-Rite role, Rory enjoys football, languages and travel.


Helen Pei | Staff Accountant

Helen Pei joined Sound-Rite in May 2019 and is currently in her role as Staff Accountant. Helen graduated from Shadd Business Center in Montreal with an Accounting Diploma. Before joining Sound-Rite, she was Financial Accountant in Niko Resources Ltd for many years. Helen is very professional, supportive and respectful. She enjoys working with and helping all other team members. Her position primarily consist of full cycle operational accounting as well as assistance with company sales and administrative duties. Outside of work, Helen keeps busy with her two kids.
